Don't stop kicking

I first saw this picture at my midwife's office a couple weeks ago and it blew my mind. Thanks to my friend Sarah for forwarding it to me.

Regardless, it's a beautiful picture of something that could really happen. I actually saw my nephew put his hand against my sister's belly when she was about 30 weeks. Truly amazing.

this is a true realization that the whole reason that we go through this uncomfortable 40 weeks is because we are literally growing a human inside of us. Amazing!!! Photoshop or not, It is a reality that there is a person in her body.

Honestly, i think its fake because she looks pretty far along. When your that far along, the baby's head is supposed to be down that way - NOT THE FEET. HELLO??? It just looks tooo fake to me. Anyway the babys foot had to be like really pushing hard and staying still to get a good picture??? When my son used to kick me - he never would stay in one place? (and he was a big baby..9lb 8oz's)

Wow, I am only 22 weeks and its a little scary that those little flutters can turn into that! If it is fake or not, though, it is pretty cute.

My little sister used to do that when she was in my mom's tummy still. She would just stick her foot out and leave it there. It was crazy. The outline of her toes wasn't there, but the shape of her foot was. My mom was only about 7 months along at that point and the baby hadn't turned yet.
